Isaiah 58; 59; Ezekiel 45:9; Psalm 89:14
Jesus, judge and righteous king (Acts 17:31):
We come today to seek you for justice in this nation
We delight in your ways and desire a nation of righteousness
We ask for your fair judgments
We join you in demanding justice and demanding the truth
We pray with the King that he will reign and prosper all
Justice and righteousness are the foundation of your throne
You are the King who executes judgment and justice
Mercy and truth go before your face
Jesus don’t stay far away
Don’t hide from our troubled times
The wicked in their pride prey on the poor and vulnerable
Arise, Lord, hear our cry and lift up your hand against injustice
Jesus overcomes the lion (Revelation 5:5 AMP Bible):
Release the bonds of evil
Undo heavy loads
Set the oppressed free
Break every yoke
Eliminate violence and oppression
Defend the poor and orphans
Do justice to the afflicted and needy
Deliver them from the hand of the wicked
May your light rise like the morning
Your healing flows quickly
And the Glory of the Lord guards the oppressed and the threatened
Jesus “Sun of righteousness” (Malachi 4:2):
You are the light of the world
We are a nation lost in our own prosperity
A nation with our own wisdom
We are desolate alone from You
We ask for an increase in your rule and peace
Order this nation with your judgment and justice
So this nation will praise you with all our hearts
That we would talk about your wonderful works
Therefore, we would rejoice and be glad in you
And sing praises to your name
